Appendix: Calculation of the Meal Allowance

In my opinion, having the report data entry staff or HR accounting enter the distance for cost centers is not the right approach. If employees with BBA authorization create cost centers, they should also have authorization to enter the distance. This is simply part of the process of creating a work order.

The fact that, after a cost center is created, information must first be sent back to the report data entry clerks just so they can add the distance later only unnecessarily complicates the process and leads to unnecessary errors.
